Joan Bagwell is the CEO and Principal Broker for A-List Properties, a residential real estate brokerage focused on helping clients buy and sell homes in the Denver Metro Area. She has been a real estate broker since 2003, representing buyers and sellers from all walks of life. After having worked for larger franchise and corporate brokerages at the beginning of her real estate career, Joan sought a more flexible and “no pressure” approach to serving her clients’ real estate needs. She founded A-List Properties in 2007.
Joan has lived in the Denver area since 1996, and has helped clients buy and sell homes in many cities along the Front Range. With her knowledge of the Denver Metro area and understanding of the real estate market, Joan has delivered invaluable information and guidance to her clients to help them navigate the buying & selling process.
As a contracted real estate broker for the local County Housing Authority for five years, Joan is knowledgeable about the various programs available to educate and financially assist her buyers in purchasing a home.
Joan is adept at strategizing complex negotiations, while adhering to a strong personal code of ethics and a compassionate nature. Having bought and/or sold 5 of her own personal residences in the past 30 years, Joan understands what it is like to walk in the shoes of her clients. Buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful life events most people will ever face. Joan’s priority is to get the job done efficiently & professionally, while reducing her clients’ stress and, of course- getting the best sales price!
Joan is a member of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and two area multiple listing services.
Joan holds the following certifications:

SFR, Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR): REALTORS® who have earned the SFR certification know how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities. The certification program includes training on how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers, and limit risk.
2. NAR’s e-PRO® Certification : An agent with NAR’s e-PRO® certification is dedicated to making the most of today’s social media and technology to help you with your real estate needs, whatever they may be. e-PRO® is the only technology certification to be officially recognized, endorsed, and conferred by the National Association of REALTORS®
3. Certified Negotiation Expert: One of the top designation courses in real estate taught nationally by the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. This course offers professional negotiation training in : Competitive vs. Collaborative Negotiating; Psychology of Buying; and Persuasion Principles
